Why This Event is Different

This is not a theory-heavy session about change models. It is a practical, focused workshop for leaders who need to guide people through real pressure, uncertainty, and shifting expectations without losing clarity, trust, or momentum.

For care leaders, the session speaks directly to the challenge of maintaining consistency, reducing firefighting, and helping managers act earlier when standards, communication, or confidence begin to drift.

For leaders in any sector, it offers a grounded way to support people through change while keeping communication clear, honest, and useful.

Who Should Attend?

πŸ“Œ Senior care leaders, owners, directors, operations directors, and regional managers who want more confidence in how change is led across services

πŸ“Œ Managers and team leaders who are responsible for supporting people through operational, cultural, or service changes

πŸ“Œ HR professionals, project leads, and people managers involved in implementing change

πŸ“Œ Any leader who wants practical tools for handling resistance, communicating clearly, and helping people move forward

Meet Your Host

Nicola Richardson is The People Mentor and founder of The Managers Academy, helping managers and leaders handle difficult people situations, hard conversations, and real leadership challenges with more confidence. She has spent over 33 years managing people in challenging environments and now supports leaders in building stronger, more capable teams.

Nicola’s work is known for being practical, honest, and grounded in real management pressure, not generic leadership theory. Her approach is especially relevant for leaders who know that systems, policies, and visibility are not enough on their own, because real consistency is built in the moments where people need to act, communicate, and intervene well under pressure.

Nicola has also been awarded the Chartered Fellow grade of the Chartered Management Institute, recognising her long-standing work with managers and leaders. One testimonial describes Nicola as someone who β€œchallenges, supports, and empowers with a rare blend of wisdom, authenticity and empathy.”
